Medium is now considered one of the most popular blogging sites. Medium is a platform specifically designed for writers and readers. The platform is also very great for portfolio building. With the number of medium writers on the rise, this article will discuss useful tips that can enable writers to break through and become top writers and earners.

We will define a top writer as a writer that earns $100 or more per month from the medium partner program. Data from the Medium Writers monthly newsletters show that less than 10% of active writers earn $100 or more per month (see Table below).
